Administrative structure
BQAM-E holds two general meetings (assemblées générales) each year. All members have the right to vote. The general assembly votes the budget and major policies, elects the board of directors and deals with the annual reports of committees and other entitees.
A Board ensures the proper functioning of BQAM-E on the administrative level, deals with the budgets, and applies the policies voted in GA. As much as possible, it is composed of students who are members of UQAM's various faculties, to ensure representativity. Non-students are also allowed to join the board if the positions are not filled by students.
Coordinators support the board in their various tasks as well as the volunteers and the comitees' projects.
The volunteers can work in the workshop, as well as getting involved in the comitees if they wish, as well as bring on new projects!
Most of the organization's funding comes from the automatic non-mandatory contribution (CANO) from UQAM's students.
